Linked Categories

When tracking a loan account or other debt, we link a category to that account from which the money will be deducted to repay the loan.

Linked Category

A linked category is indicated by a link icon next to the category name.

Loan Payments In Ploutos Budget

To create a loan payment, select the loan account as the “Payee (To).” The linked category will be automatically selected for you.

Edit Linked Category

To edit the linked category for a loan account, simply click the icon next to the loan account name in the left-side navigation.

To edit the linked category for a loan account, navigate to the accounts screen, select the loan tab at the top, and tap the account you want to edit.

Tap "Edit" in the top right of the screen on the account's detail page.
