How To Add A Linked Account

When adding an account in Ploutos Budget, you have the option to link it to your financial institution. If linked, all transactions for spending accounts or investment holdings will be automatically pulled in.


If you opt not to link it, you'll need to enter your transactions or investment holdings manually as they occur. You can change your mind at any time and link or unlink an account.


Note


Your budget will not include data from imported transactions from your linked accounts until those transactions are categorized.





🌎 Web Application


  1. Click the "Create" button in the bottom right corner.

  1. Click "Link"

Create buttons.

  1. Click "Connect" and "Continue"

Connect accounts.

  1. Select your financial institution.
  2. Enter your credentials and follow the prompts.
  3. Select any or all of the accounts you would like to link to Ploutos Budget, then click "Continue".
  4. Finally click "Done".

  1. Click the "Create" button in the lower right corner.

Click create button.

  1. Click "Account".

Create buttons.

  1. Assign a name to this account for easy identification.
  2. Select "Account Type".
  3. Select your "Link" that you just created.
  4. Enter in your account "Balance".
    1. No balance needed for "Investment" type accounts.
  5. Click "Save".

Once an account is linked, any new pending or posted transactions will appear in their respective account tab, found on the left side navigation. Posted transactions will also be displayed as "Uncategorized Transactions" on the Dashboard.

  1. Press the "Create" button in the bottom navigation.

Press create button.

  1. Press "Link".

  1. Press "Connect" and "Continue".

  1. Select your financial institution.
  2. Enter your credentials and follow the prompts.
  3. Select any or all of the accounts you would like to link to Ploutos Budget, then click "Continue".
  4. Finally press "Done"

  1. Press the "Create" button in the bottom navigation.

  1. Press "Account"

  1. Select account "Type".
  2. Assign a "Name" to this account for easy identification.
  3. Select your "Link" that you just created.
  4. Enter in your account "Balance".

  5. Press "Save".
